Privacy Policy

Second Spring ("we," "us," or "our") makes digital toolkits that help women organize their perimenopause symptoms and prepare for conversations with their doctor. We care about being trustworthy — and that includes how we handle your information. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Second Spring is a digital-products brand operating the website secondspringstore.com. You can reach us any time at [email protected].
2. Information we collect
- Email address — when you sign up for the free checklist or our newsletter, so we can send you the file you requested and occasional related notes.
- Order information — if you buy a product. Purchases are processed by third-party stores (such as Etsy or Gumroad), not by us directly. They share with us limited details needed to fulfill and support your order (for example, your name, email, and what you bought). We never see or store your full card number.
- Usage and device data — pages visited, approximate location, browser and device type, and how you arrived at our site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).
- Messages you send us — anything you include when you email us.
We do not collect health information. Our products are fillable tools you complete privately on your own device or paper. Anything you write into a tracker, journal, or worksheet stays with you — it is never transmitted to or stored by us.
3. How we use your information
- To deliver the free checklist and any products you request.
- To send marketing emails you've opted into — which you can leave at any time.
- To provide customer support and respond to your messages.
- To understand how our site and ads perform, so we can improve them.
- To keep our site secure and prevent fraud or abuse.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, and only as needed:
- Email platform (e.g. MailerLite) — to store subscribers and send email.
- Checkout / store providers (e.g. Etsy, Gumroad) — to process payments and deliver downloads.
- Analytics & advertising (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook, Pinterest) — to measure traffic and the performance of our ads.
- Legal reasons — if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
5. Cookies & advertising technologies
We use cookies and similar tools, including advertising pixels from Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Pinterest and analytics from Google. These help us see how our ads and pages perform and show relevant ads to people who may benefit from our toolkits. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalized advertising via your settings on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest, or through tools like the Digital Advertising Alliance.
6. Your choices & rights
- Unsubscribe any time using the link at the bottom of our emails.
- Access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you — just email us.
- Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of certain data uses. We honor these requests.
To make any request, contact [email protected].
7. Data retention
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, for as long as you're subscribed, plus a reasonable period afterward — or as required by law.
8. Children
Second Spring is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we'll delete it.
9. International users
We are a digital business serving customers primarily in the United States. If you access our site from elsewhere, your information may be processed in countries with different data protection laws than your own.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
